Our software is used daily by millions of people around the world and we need developers who are up to the challenge that this presents. We need developers to work on a wide range of technologies, including, but not limited to: distributed systems, automated test development, user interfaces, mobile and cloud computing. As a developer, you will help make dreams a reality.
Software Developers at D2L have a passion for technology and code. Beyond code, developers are expected to collaborate closely with others, including technical product managers, designers, and test developers. Your ideas and perspectives are essential to making sure we are building the right things.
- Ability to analyze and decompose problems into potential technical solutions
- Experience with OO design and proficient coding skills (e.g., C++, C# or Java)
- Strong understanding of Computer Science topics, including data structures, algorithms, databases, and distributed systems
- Experience in software development, preferably in a technology‑focused company
- Acumen with Artificial Intelligence tools
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a similar technical discipline, scheduled for completion in Spring 2026.
Hybrid Work at D2LD2L uses a flexible hybrid work style. Most of our offices, including our HQ in Kitchener, require three days in office, with our Toronto office requiring one‑to‑three days. Exact work arrangements are team dependent.
Base Salary Range$70,000—$90,000 CAD
