Key Responsibilities:
Design and operate core CIAM backend services
Implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM standards
Develop Python and Kotlin APIs for identity capabilities
Integrate user stores, messaging, fraud signals, and platforms
Monitor and optimize services for resilience and abuse detection
Requirements:
Seven or more years designing backend systems at scale
Five or more years of professional backend engineering
Strong Python or similar backend language experience
Hands-on CIAM knowledge beyond basic configuration
Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and observability
Apply backend engineering, CIAM standards, and security expertise to protect customers across Affirm identity experiences.
