High Street Medical Practice is seeking a highly motivated and skilled part-time salaried
GP for 3 sessions a week.

We are a well-established traditional, family orientated GP practice located on the ground floor of the modern, purpose-built Dene Drive Medical Centre in Winsford.
Our practice serves over 7000 patients in a diverse community with a wide range of health needs, including long-term condition management, mental health, safeguarding and social complexity. We are proud to support a population with significant health inequalities and we work closely with local partners to deliver joined-up care that meets the needs of our community.

Job responsibilitiesWe are looking for a part time salaried GP to cover 3 session per week in total.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of medical services as defined in the core GMS contract, additional and enhanced services where appropriate.
- Provide other general medical services to meet identified patient need.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems whether self-referred, or referred from other healthcare works within the organisation.
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice; disease management protocols, provide counselling and health education.
- Work within current ICB policy for prescribing.
- Be available and accessible to patients at all times as agreed.
- Maximise the effective use of current clinical computer systems. Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to an agreed standard.
- Compile and issue computer generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand written prescriptions whenever possible).
- Undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. (These duties will include reports/cremation forms. The fees for this work would be retained within the practice budget).
- To take part in, and lead on, areas including clinical auditing and data collection.
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and license to practise.
- Inclusion on the NHS Medical Performers List.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills along with interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of current NHS and primary care frameworks.
- Experience with EMIS
- Involvement in QOF and enhanced services or research projects.
