Pathstone Associate Program

Pathstone's Client Advisory Associate Class is designed to accelerate the development of Associates as they begin their careers serving some of the most sophisticated families, family offices, and institutions in the industry. Through a combination of immersive learning, hands-on experiences, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship building, Advisory Associates gain a deeper understanding of how Pathstone delivers exceptional client service.

Job Description:

In this role, the Associate will work closely with Client Advisory Teams to help deliver an exceptional client experience and support the day-to-day operations of client relationships. Responsibilities include completing account applications, preparing fund subscription documents, accounting and reporting maintenance, and assisting in the development of client presentation materials and other special projects.

The Associate will also partner with client teams to process money movements and execute trades within accounts, while following the process through in tandem with the firm's Capital Markets Group. In addition, they play an important role in managing task flow and record keeping inside our firm's CRM, ensuring we have accurate and timely execution.

Through the evolution of an Associate's Career Path, there will be opportunities for further professional development through internal programs at the firm and support in pursuing professional certifications such as the CFP and CFA.

This role supports the firm's Winter Park, FL office with a start date in the summer of 2027.

As part of this commitment, Client Advisory Associates participate in an immersive, in-person learning experience, spending a week collaborating and learning alongside peers from Pathstone offices across the country. Through interactive training sessions, live simulations, and cross-functional collaboration, Associates strengthen their understanding of core roles and responsibilities and develop meaningful relationships with colleagues and subject matter experts across the firm.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree completed by the summer of 2027 is required.
• Prior experience in the financial management industry, specifically Client Operations and Administration, and past full-time office experience is a plus, but not required for recent graduates.
• Basic understanding of investments including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternative investments is preferred.
• Solid analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and client service skills.
• Detail-oriented and ability to handle time-sensitive issues.
• Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Excel.
• A positive attitude and initiative in all aspects of the position.
• The ability to prioritize tasks in the face of competing demands.
• Engaged in learning and growing, and motivated to take on new challenges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interested in learning how to use and optimize AI for day-to-day workflows in a creative manner.
