As a Customer Service Engineer 80-100%, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers worldwide by ensuring reliable installation, maintenance, training, and troubleshooting of our state-of-the-art measuring systems. With a strong focus on service quality, flexibility, and technical expertise, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and to coatmaster’s success across industries.

Location:

based in a region with convenient access to Winterthur.

• Technical education in electronics, mechatronics, automation, or similar
• Service or customer support experience in an industrial environment; ideally coating, surface treatment or automation
• Hands‑on, structured, and precise working style
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to improvise
• High service orientation, flexibility, and resilience
• Ability to build strong relationships with regional service partners
• Team player across Sales, Service, and R&D
• PLC experience preferred
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally (40‑60%)
• Valid driver’s license
• Commissioning of coatmaster systems worldwide
  Preventive and corrective maintenance on‑site and remotely
• Calibration and repair work in‑house and on customer sites
• Customer training and product demonstrations
• Testing, qualification, and development of new applications
• Troubleshooting in close collaboration with customers and internal teams
• Contribution to integration projects and continuous process improvement
• Testing, programming, and optimizing PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell, Beckhoff)
