Hours per Shift: 8 hours, Monday through Friday, . Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: Experience with GI-endoscopy is a plus. Scrubbing experience is required.
Description:
The RN will work in an Ambulatory Surgery OR setting.
The department has 6 suites and handles various cases daily.
Common cases include GI-endoscopy, podiatry, cataracts, sports medicine, GYN, urology, small vascular, and general surgery.
The position does not require charge nurse or house supervisor duties.
While experience with Cerner is preferred, education will be provided if there is no prior knowledge.
Floating between sites may be required for some GI and OR cases.
The RN will need to complete all necessary documentation while clocking in and out of the facility.
There are no weekend, call, or holiday requirements.
Day shifts will sometimes require working late to complete ongoing cases.
