ADMINISTRATOR – TRANSPORT & LOGISTICSInteraction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Administrator to join our client’s busy transport and logistics operation based in Wishaw, just outside Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities- Debriefing drivers on their return to the depot.
- Checking, collecting and processing driver paperwork.
- Managing delivery notes, PODs and other transport documentation.
- Handling vehicle keys, ensuring they are correctly issued, returned and recorded.
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with drivers and the transport team to resolve paperwork or delivery queries.
- Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
- Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics or distribution.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills when dealing with drivers and colleagues.
- Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work well in a busy environment.
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
- Monday to Friday working hours.
- Consistent daytime hours, 8:00am–5:00pm.
