Vehicle Damage Assessor

kolt recruitment are looking for a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a successful bodyshop based in Witham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced VDA looking to develop within a modern, well-equipped accident repair environment.

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate repair assessments, working closely with customers, insurers and the workshop team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Complete detailed vehicle damage inspections and create accurate repair estimates using Audatex
• Liaise with insurers, customers and internal teams to gain repair authority and streamline workflow
• Ensure all repair methods follow manufacturer standards and safety guidelines
• Work collaboratively with the bodyshop team to support smooth repair processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and support effective job planning

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within an accident repair centre
• Audatex accreditation or strong Audatex experience
• Good technical understanding of vehicle repair methods
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bodyshop environment
