Location:

Witney, England, United Kingdom.

Salary: £32,000 per annum.

• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week

• NVQ Level 2 Culinary or equivalent Qualification
• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
• Level 2 Food and Hygiene Certificate (mandatory)

• Assist the team in day‑to‑day running of the canteen and kitchen, including planning and implementation of new procedures and concepts.
• Ensure that all food served is of the highest quality.
• Train and supervise new staff in safe food preparation.
• Ensure health procedures are followed in accordance with HACCP regulations.
• Maintain par stock levels.
• Cross‑check deliveries with purchase orders, count/verify stock with the delivery note.
• Store deliveries correctly as soon as possible after arrival.
• Prepare dishes and portion them according to recipe cards.
• Participate in formulation and compilation of new menus.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and serviced as required, report breakages.
• Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Ensure all chef staff wear long‑sleeve jackets and non‑slip shoes.
