Junior Accountant - Accountancy Practice (Near Woking)

Are you an ambitious Junior Accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a friendly and well‑established accountancy practice based near Woking, is looking for a motivated individual to join their small but busy team.

This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you'll gain hands‑on experience, develop your skills, and work closely with a range of owner‑managed businesses across various industries.

You’ll be responsible for preparing year‑end accounts, assisting with management accounts, and supporting the senior team with client work. This is a varied position where you’ll be encouraged to build client relationships and develop a strong understanding of their needs.

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping tasks
• Supporting with VAT returns and basic tax computations
• Liaising with clients and providing day‑to‑day assistance
• Working closely with senior accountants to ensure deadlines are met

• 2-3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice is essential
• Confident in preparing accounts independently
• AAT qualified or part‑qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Keen to learn and progress in a supportive team environment
