We are seeking someone who has hands‑on prototype machining experience in supporting vehicle development, build and test activities. You will be responsible for using both CNC and manual milling and turning, working closely with build and development teams to support prototype vehicles, rigs and research projects.

• Deliver high‑quality machining (CNC and manual milling and turning equipment) work to support requests from the Vehicle Development workshop teams.
• Work closely with the vehicle build and development teams to produce reliable prototype vehicles, rigs and bucks that support effective testing and the development of new vehicle technologies.
• Plan and prioritise multiple work requests, balancing competing demands and meeting tight development deadlines.

• Proven experience machining low-volume components using both CNC and manual milling and turning equipment.
• Have a good understanding of vehicle architecture and systems.
• Experience working with modern metallic and composite materials, ideally within high-performance automotive, motor sport or aerospace environments.
• Ability to view and work from drawings using CATIA CAD.
• Confidence in interpreting 2D engineering drawings and specifications.
• Can self-inspect and quality check completed components to a high standard.
• Welding and fabrication experience would be beneficial.
