Production Planning Manager

Are you an experienced Production Planner who has mentored a team within a manufacturing environment?  Do you have a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and planning processes? We are working with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a Production Planning Manager on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading the planning team to ensure that manufacturing schedules meet customer demands while maintaining efficient stock levels.

Job Description

Review MRP outputs to prioritise daily production schedules
Identify material shortages and initiate corrective actions
Lead of a team of production planners
Analyse part demand, usage trends and forecasts
Maintain and improve planning data including BOM’s, routings and work instructions

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Proven experience in production planning, including MRP and inventory control
Experience managing a team
Background working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
