Mechanical Assemblers urgently required to work a PM shift for a specialist engineering and manufacturing business based near Woking. We are looking for experienced fitters and assemblers who can work to engineering drawings and build a wide range of mechanical products, lifting and access equipment. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a new challenge, who wants to put their assembly, fitting and production experience to the test!

Shift pattern:
Monday - Thursday 2:30pm – 10:30pm, Friday 1:00pm – 8:00pm

These roles have been created due to huge investment following a number of massive contract wins, resulting in an 18‑month full order book and a requirement for a new shift! The role offers real career progression into a team lead and then field service based roles, with live examples of fitters who are now travelling the world doing installations, repairs and maintenance, having started in the workshop.

• Mechanical assembly / fitting of steel and aluminium equipment
• Knowledge of ground support, platforms, access and lifting equipment
• Working to technical drawings and build sheets
• Use of hand tools and power tools
• Assembly of access structures, ground support equipment and similar products
• Packing and protection of parts and products
• Work as part of a team
