Staff Nurse - Pre Assessment
Woking Hospital | Pre Assessment | Permanent | Full Time
Up to £37,000 per annum
37.5 hours per week

You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:
  • Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service, engaging key stakeholders and patients
  • Drive the Nuffield values daily
  • As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to surgery in line with local and national policies and processes
  • Key understanding of latest best practice around pre assessment process and pathways, leading to a safe and effective patient experience
  • Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family and engage them in their pathways and decisions
  • Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
  • Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities, driving peer and self-reflective processes and continuous practice development
  • Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
