Account Executive – Commercial Team (Wokingham, Berkshire)

About the role
:
You will manage a book of business for existing clients while developing a strong pipeline of new commercial‑insurance business. The role generates revenue andب ensures a first‑class service for all clients, covering everything from initial quotes to renewals, claims and mid‑termolu adjustments.

• Prospect new leads and manage client visit schedules
• Identify clients’ needs and gather necessary information
• Negotiate and present proposals to insurers to secure optimal podendo cover
• Present recommendations, close sale and ensure cover is managed
• Cross‑sell additional products and renew existing policies
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulation and company procedures
• Handle complaints in line with regulatory guidance and company policy
• Maintain professionalism when dealing with clients and insurers
• Manage claims, providing timely support to clients throughout the process

• Previous experience as an Account Handler/Executive within a broker environment
• Strong new‑business skills with a proven client reputation
• Working knowledge of commercial insurance products
• Experience with high FCA compliance standards
• Basic IT skills for accurate record‑keeping
• Exemplary communication, organisational and customer‑service skills
• Regulatory and compliance awareness
• Willingness to pursue Cert CII or holding such a qualification
