Warehouse Receiver & Shipper

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Warehouse Receiver & Shipper to join our team. The successful candidate will perform various duties related to the receipt and shipment of goods, inventory management, organization, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials from the warehouse to our customers.

• Receive incoming materials daily, unpack packages, and verify part numbers and quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Transact materials in Oracle and assign proper storage bin locations for items without pre-assigned bins.
• Locate parts required to fill customer orders and follow specific instructions.
• Package materials securely to protect from damage during shipment, including building skids or crates for fabricated items as needed.
• Process outgoing shipments daily using carrier software, including UPS World Ship, Fed Ex Ship Manager, and DHL.
• Stage shipments in the assigned carrier pick-up locations and ensure timely dispatch.

• Perform cycle counts daily, running cycle count reports and recording daily cycle counts.
• Investigate and document variances in cycle counts, correcting discrepancies as needed, and report major issues to management.

• Operate material handling equipment such as ladders, carts, and forklifts to move materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks as required and coordinate delivery of truck shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and mezzanine environment, ensuring materials are stored in proper locations.
• Participate in monthly 5S initiatives to improve flow of goods within the warehouse.

• Maintain shipping documents and shared logs in an orderly manner.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping and receiving records.
• Handle customs clearances on items pending receipt in Wokingham or items recently shipped from Wokingham.
• Record IPR Service Imports into the shared monitoring log via customs clearance and insert Export details when shipped.

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or related field; familiarity with UPS, World Ship, Fed Ex Ship Manager, and DHL software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, carts, ladders).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems;
  Microsoft Office proficiency is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks, including bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
