Job Summary
Supplier Quality Engineer – Responsible for overseeing and managing the supplier base under BDCH contracts. Ensures that products sourced from external suppliers meet BD’s quality standards and comply with global regulatory requirements.

Role OverviewAs a key member supporting BD Switzerland, the Associate will manage a portfolio of finished goods suppliers, maintaining strong relationships, ensuring alignment with BD’s quality standards, and proactively resolving issues to uphold product quality and compliance. Close collaboration with Quality and Regulatory teams across regions is essential.
Main Responsibilities- Support development and maintenance of supplier qualification/re‑qualification activities for the BDCH supplier base.
- Support supplier audit schedule and ensure audits are conducted per procedures.
- Support ongoing quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of ISO 13485:2016, MDSAP, MDR, and other applicable ISO standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Engineering / Science degree or equivalent experience.
- Awareness of worldwide quality system regulations (EU MDR, ISO 13485, 21
CFR 820) – preferred. - Experience in quality processes such as CAPA, Complaint Management, Risk Management – preferred.
- Experience conducting audits to international standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016).
- Results‑oriented with strong organization and time‑management skills.
- Effective communication in an international environment with external partners and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English.

£44,000 – £48,000 plus bonus and benefits. Salary range also shown as £42,000 – £71,400 GBP annually. Benefits include a performance‑based package, recognition opportunities, and a supportive workplace culture.
