Fire Sprinkler System Designer and Project Supervisor

• Have a full understanding on BSEN 12845 (NFPA & FM Global beneficial)
• Have the ability to problem solve and resolve issues that occur on a daily basis
• To ensure clients/insurers requirements are adhered to at all times.
• Working closely with the project team to ensure designs are completed and on time and to the technical submissions standards
• To organise and supervise sub-contractors as and when required
• Involved in drawing and calculations to ensure compliance within the relevant fire sprinkler system standards
• To comply relevant documents to tender works from a clients initial enquiry
• Carrying out take offs from construction drawings of materials required by onsite engineers
• Carrying out site surveys prior to design collating the required information
• Completing ISO-9001 paperwork relating to projects

• Auto Cad 2D (essential)
• Experience of carrying out site surveys, attending client meetings and site installations
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Sprinkler Industry
• Customer care/relationship building skills
• Able to work as a member of a team
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Able to conduct surveys on site.
• Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company
• UK driving licence; this position is primarily office based but with travel being a significant part of completing the role.
