Permanent, Full‑time, 40 hrs per week, Field based. Salary £30‑35k + bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems.
• Perform water hygiene tasks: temperature monitoring, water sampling, TMV servicing, shower head descaling.
• Highlight unusual results and escalates for further investigation.
• Proofread own reports and others’ when required.
• Liaise with clients as needed.
• Maintain equipment, consumables, and report issues promptly.
• Upload accurate data to SGS’s digital project management platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in Legionella risk assessments and water hygiene tasks.
• Familiarity with handheld digital devices for data input.
• Knowledge of water systems and relevant regulations.
• Ability to assess across various building types.

Essential Qualifications (one or more)

• BOHS proficiency module certificates (P901 minimum, P903, P904) or City & Guilds equivalent (WH004).
• Water Management Society Risk Assessor Course.
• Nationally regulated Level 3 diploma in Legionella risk assessment.
