The Placements

These placements sit within Moog’s Aircraft Group, which focuses on the design, test, and manufacture of high‑spec flight control products, used on both Commercial and Military aircraft. Positions are available in the following areas:

  • Assembly Systems Engineer
  • Military Actuation Engineering
  • Commercial Actuation Engineering
  • New Product Introduction

Who can apply
  • All placements are available to penultimate/final year students.
  • Working towards a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, etc.)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills and a passion for engineering.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An interest in the aerospace industry.
The Application Process
  • To apply, please submit a CV and cover letter that includes your predicted degree grade and, where possible, the grades you have achieved in your completed modules to date. Moog is also keen to hear about any hobbies or projects that are relevant to this placement.
  • Moog are recruiting for a wide range of opportunities and are happy to consider applicants for multiple placements if you progress to the next stage, you will be asked which other placements you’d like to be considered for.
  • The selection process includes attending an assessment centre and a 60‑minute Teams interview. Applicants must be available to attend an assessment centre and site tour at Moog’s Wolverhampton facility in February 2026.
