Role is to work with children 0-19 in the community setting, this will be in clinic at the Gem center, in hospital on the wards, in schools and in homes. You will work with equipment such as standing frames, sleep systems and specialised seating.
We work with a multitude of conditions such as neurological, neuromuscular, musculo-skeletal, respiratory, and developmental. You will work alongside a vibrant and friendly team to ensure that our services meet the need of the patient and ensure their journey through our service is a good one. We promote quality improvement ideas and value solution focused attitudes.
Main duties of the jobTo support patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals by providing treatment programmes.
To complete children's specific therapeutic interventions under the direction of by Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
To act as a key worker for patients on caseload providing feedback to clinicians.

Person Specification Experience- Evidence of working with children
- Substantial, relevant experience in a therapy or rehabilitation role
- IT literate
- English and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent
- NVQ 3 diagnostic and therapeutic care or equivalent competency based qualification
- Foundation degree in health and social care or equivalent qualification
- Full UK driving license
- Use of vehicle for work
