Job Overview

Imaging Assistants are an integral part of the Radiology Team, providing a high standard of patient‑centred care to deliver and maintain a good patient experience. The post will support patients undergoing tests and procedures, assisting consultants and radiographers performing radiology examinations. Performing adminиная duties that relate to the department, this role is based in the Breast Imaging department at New Cross Hospital.

The hoursaderas are 09:00–17:00, Monday to Friday. Weekend working may be required when necessary to meet the needs of the department.p>

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe and effective clinical practice composants.
  • Enhance the patient’s experience.
  • Manage and develop the performance of the team.
  • Contribute effectively to the delivery of the organisation’s objectives.
Qualifications
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Experience in a caring/clerical post.
  • Committed to providing quality care.
  • Highly motivated and eager to be part of a dedicated team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong patient focus.
