Job Description
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Travel to other Eurofins UK sites may be required. As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide IT infrastructure support to users based at supported sites across the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities- Provide desk-side and remote support to users, including resolving hardware and software issues.
- Adhere to KPIs and SLAs.
- Set up, configure and install new PCs and associated equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide local support for desktop, server and network infrastructure equipment.
- Open to work off site at Eurofins locations within the UK and Ireland. Regular travel to supported sites throughout the UK and Ireland; role has a specified base location.
- Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
- Participate in developmental training as required in compliance with the Company Standard.
- Participate in covering on-site and off-site support, which may be part of a shift rotation.
- Prepare technical proposals for improvement with the line manager.
- Creation and maintenance of working documentation, for example, SOPs and FAQs.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of supporting appropriate versions of Microsoft Windows.
- Strong hardware support skills, including maintenance of PCs, printers and other equipment.
- Experience of basic Windows Server administration, including AD user creation, password administration, Group Policy, etc.
- Microsoft Exchange/Outlook client.
- Strong Microsoft Office support skills.
- Ticketing systems such as Service Now.
- Full driving licence.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own work.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Relevant experience in a similar IT support role.
- Adhering to SLAs and meeting KPIs.
