Our longstanding and trusted client that operates within the financial services domain is hiring a Senior Risk Manager who has solid experience in data quality governance and client data remediation to lead our clients Data Risk function. Our client is currently embarking on a data transformation programme, migrating legacy data into the cloud (Azure) and requires a Senior Risk Manager to deliver 2

LoD opinion over the assessment of risks linked to data integrity, availability, and resilience, including dependencies on critical data asset.

Our client is offering £80,000 circa + 15% bonus + 28 days holiday + 13% pension + Private Healthcare + Hybrid working to be based in Wolverhampton on a hybrid basis (2 to 3 days per week).

To be successful, you must have experience of regulated environments, the ability challenge senior stake holders within model and analytics risk, including AI/ML bias, drift, explainability, and responsible use and strong knowledge of 2nd or 3rd line experience (1st line would not be considered).

• Provide second-line challenge and assurance over data risk managed by first-line teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of data risk frameworks aligned with Group risk appetite.
• Conduct and support RCSAs, scenario analysis, and data risk reporting.
• Ensure oversight of data governance processes, data quality risks, and regulatory reporting (incl. GDPR compliance).
• Manage and develop a small team of data risk professionals.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing risk insights on projects and strategic initiatives.

• Proven experience in a senior data risk, operational risk, or data governance role is at 2nd line is must have.
• Strong knowledge of data risk frameworks, data lifecycle, and relevant regulations is a must have.
• Background in financial services, ideally with exposure to regulatory risk expectations is a must have.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills must have.
• Relevant degree and/or industry certifications (CISA) is desirable.
