Warehouse Manager

Are you an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude?

My Distribution client are looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations within a 56,000 sq. ft facility, ensuring smooth communication between office and warehouse teams and leading a team of seven staff.

You’ll be responsible for managing dropship orders, overseeing inventory and dispatch processes, and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, supervise, and support a team of warehouse operatives

* Coordinate daily activities between office and warehouse staff

* Manage dropship orders and handle invoice order points for major customers

* Oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes

* Ensure efficient material handling and storage within high-level racking systems

* Operate forklifts (Counterbalance & Flexi) as required

* Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations

* Apply lean process management to improve operational efficiency

* Supporting team members in their professional development and motivating staff to reach their full potential

Key Skills

* Proven supervisory experience in a warehouse environment

* Strong shipping, receiving, and inventory control knowledge

* Material handling and forklift operation skills

* Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance & Flexi)

* Excellent organisational and communication abilities

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

* Understanding of warehouse health & safety standards

* Experience with lean process management

Working Hours - Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm and Friday: 7:30am – 3:15pm
