Mill / Turner – CNC Machinist (Turner/Mill‑Turn)

Team Leader Parts Generation

Double‑day shift pattern with overtime as requested. An initial training period on days is required before moving to shifts.

• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines/processes.
• Perform first‑off inspections and complete the necessary quality documentation.
• Be competent in setting up and using machine tools.
• Carry out own first‑off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentation.
• Have proven experience in a machine shop environment.
• Be confident in using precision measurement equipment.

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing role, ideally within the aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
• Proven skills in a multi‑axis/complex machining environment.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement techniques.
• Proficiency in using relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing tolerances.
• Over 10 years experience on different mill/turn CNC machines – Mazak.

This role follows a double‑day shift pattern with overtime as requested. Candidates must be self‑certified and hold a quality stamp after the qualifying period.

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Failure to obtain clearance may result in ineligibility for the role or withdrawal of any employment offer.
