Owen Payne Recruitment are now recruiting experienced Steel Fabricators to join their expanding team in the Bilston area.

If you’re a skilled Steel Fabricator looking to take the next step in your career, this 12‑week temp‑to‑perm opportunity could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.

You will play a key role in assembling and fabricating mechanical components, products, and structures using a variety of tools and equipment—ensuring all work meets the highest industry standards within a leading manufacturing environment.

We have start dates available for the next 2 weeks, alternatively we have roles available in January for the right candidates.

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00–15:45
• Friday: 07:00–13:00

• £17.50 per hour + enhanced overtime rates

• Fabricating highway products and infrastructures according to specifications and industry standards.
• Operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and position materials as needed.
• Reading and interpreting drawings to determine project requirements.
• Inspecting finished products for quality and ensuring they meet specifications.
• Maintaining and performing routine checks on welding and fabricating equipment.
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Undertaking additional duties as required.

• Must have previous Steel Fabrication experience.
• Must be able to read drawings.
• Experience with operating overhead cranes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a fabrication environment.
