Pertemps Recruitment is working with a number of well-established manufacturing and engineering businesses who are looking to recruit skilled CNC Operators. These roles are ideal for candidates with previous CNC experience who are looking for long-term opportunities within a professional engineering environment.

Typical Duties

Operating CNC machinery in line with production schedules
Loading and unloading components and raw materials
Setting tools and carrying out basic offsets where required
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Carrying out quality inspections using micrometers and verniers
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience operating CNC machines
Confident use of micrometers and verniers
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
