£12.74 - £14.30per hour PAYE + 12.5% Shift (Double Days) + Overtime

Quality/Goods-in Inspector to support their inspection team in delivering to the highest standards.

About the Role

As aQuality Inspector, you'll be responsible for carrying out both manual and CMM-based inspections to ensure components meet customer and engineering specifications.

This is a hands-on inspection role, ideal for someone experienced in engineering or manufacturing quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate
  
  CMM machinesusing
  
  Metrosoftsoftware for detailed component inspection.
• Use manual inspection tools includingthread gauges, gap gauges, micrometers, callipers, etc.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Support quality assurance across production processes.
• (Desirable):
  Perform visual weld inspections - prior experience is an advantage, but not essential.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in aquality inspectionrole within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Competence in CMM inspection - ideally with Wenzel (Metrosoft), but Mitutoyo or similar systems also highly valued.
• Skilled in the use of standard inspection tools and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
