Due to continued growth Next Generation are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector – Supervisor to work with a global leading manufacturer who supply machined components. As the Quality Inspector - Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring that the products manufactured and supplied, meet and exceed customer requirements.

Duties of the Quality Inspector:

* Leading a team of five inspectors

* Calibrating hand-held measuring equipment

* Inspection of incoming Stock

* Inspection of goods being sent to or returned from Sub Contract Suppliers

* Inspection of machined items, to include first off, patrol and final inspection.

* Final inspection of goods, before they are released for despatch to the customer

* To provide cover and assistance to other members of the Quality Department

* Ensure one’s own safety and that of others.

* Cooperate with employer on OH&S.

The successful candidate for the Quality Inspector’s position will have the following experience:

* 2 – 5 years’ experience within a Quality within a supervisors capacity (Essential).

* Ability to use thread gauges, micrometres, shadow graphs (Essential)

* Knowledge of inspection techniques (Essential)

* You will be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to communicate and build good relationships.
