Overview
A new exciting opportunity has arisen to join Greenhous DAF as a Parts Sales Executive
, covering the Midlands region.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of HGV parts to both existing and potential customers. You will ensure that our valued clients have access to the parts they need to keep their fleets running smoothly while promoting our services and latest offerings to new prospects.
Your drive, strong sales skills and customer-focused approach will play a vital role in the growth and success of our business, helping us to expand and market presence even future.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are always met.
Working Hours & SalaryWorking Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.30 pm, i.e. 45 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid)
Salary: Dependent on experience & on target earnings
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify, approach, and visit potential customers while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
- Assist customers in selecting the right parts for their specific needs, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.
- Coordinate with the telesales team to provide accurate details such as quotations, sales status, and delivery information.
- Prepare and present product quotations; negotiate terms to secure sales.
- Communicate latest product offers and deals to customers and prospects.
- Escalate issues or improvement opportunities to the Parts Sales Manager and via the internal reporting system.
- Represent the business at corporate events and trade shows.
- Stay up to date with the latest HGV parts, their features, and benefits.
- Be well-versed in technical aspects to effectively address customer inquiries.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Actively contribute to sales meetings and strategy discussions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, visits, outcomes, opportunities, and inventory levels in the internal database.
- Provide regular sales reports to management.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Attend training sessions to enhance product and market knowledge.
- Face-to-face sales experience is essential.
- Previous experience in HGV or automotive parts field sales would be advantageous.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal oriented.
- Technical knowledge of HGV and automotive parts is highly advantageous.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn (training provided).
- Direct sales: 2 years (preferred) B2B sales: 2 years (Preferred).
