PHP Developer

Position

PHP Developer - Wolverhampton - £50,000- £55,000

We're seeking a talented PHP Developer to support the ongoing development and enhancement of our custom in-house software system. The platform is an essential part of the business covering major day to day work and needs to be accessible via tablets and mobile devices for both employees and 3rd parties.

You’ll work in a collaborative environment, building robust, scalable software solutions and ensuring seamless integration across internal and external systems.

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer
• Strong proficiency with PHP and experience in both TALL (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire) and LAMP stacks
• Excellent understanding of Laravel and Livewire frameworks
• Familiarity with test-driven development (PHPUnit, feature testing, etc.)
• Experience managing cloud-hosted Linux servers and MySQL databases, ideally within AWS
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads using tools such as JIRA
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
