- Bilston Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Day Driver on behalf of our well-established customer based in Bilston, West Midlands . Our customer is a long-established food manufacturing and distribution business, supplying high-quality poultry products to major retailers, food service providers and manufacturers across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Day Driver looking for regular ongoing work with a professional transport operation, well-maintained vehicles and a supportive driving team.

Pay Rates Standard PAYE Monday to Friday: £17.00 per hour Saturday: £18.00 per hour Sunday / Bank Holiday: £19.00 per hour PAYE with Rolled Up Holiday Pay (Optional) Monday to Friday: £19.05 per hour Saturday: £20.17 per hour Sunday / Bank Holiday: £21.29 per hour Rolled up holiday pay is available as an optional payment method, giving drivers the flexibility to receive their holiday entitlement as part of their hourly rate.

What's Involved? As a Class 1 Day Driver , you will be delivering goods to stores and customer locations across both local and nationwide routes. Typical duties include:
Completing between 1 and 3 deliveries per shift Store deliveries throughout the UK Operating a tail lift safely and efficiently Completing PODs and all delivery documentation accurately Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects Providing a professional and courteous service at customer sites Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time This role involves customer-facing deliveries and requires excellent professionalism and communication skills.

Shift Patterns Monday to Friday Start times typically between 01:00 and 07:00 Shifts generally range from 8 to 12 hours Optional weekend work available Ongoing, regular work available Requirements To be considered for this Class 1 Day Driver role, applicants must have:
Valid UK Category CE (Class
