CAD Designer

The company are an established and very successful precision tooling company who supply solutions to the aerospace industry.

Pertemps are recruiting on their behalf for a CAD Engineer for their operations in the Worcester area.

Salary - Up to £35k

The role is on Days - Monday to Friday

Main Goal

To design tooling for casting and wax modelling.

Main Responsibilities

Produce designs using Unigraphics /Siemens NC CAD software
Produce detailed models for manufacturing purpose
Produce technical drawings
Liaise with CNC Programmers and Toolmakers
Attend design development meetings
Liaise with customers on technical and design issues
Creation of BOM's and parts lists for ordering parts and materials
Work with management to implement the companies policies and business objectives
Carry out any other duties when required
Skills and experience required

Familiar with CAD software (preferably Unigraphics / Siemens NC)
Familiar with CNC manufacturing processes
Familiar with injection moulding processes
Close attention to detail and able to work under own initiative
Ideally hold an engineering qualification such as HNC/HND or a degree - this is not essential however.

The company are based in the Worcester area so will be commutable from Redditch, Droitwich, Kidderminster, Evesham, Studley, Stratford upon Avon, Bromsgrove, Henley in Arden, Alcester.
