Credit Controller
OverviewOur Credit Controller will be responsible for executing the overall Support, Reporting, Collaboration and Compliance at our Worcestershire Head Office.
Are you looking for your next Credit Controller role? With exceptional attention to detail, you, as a Credit Controller, will act as a central function of the Accounts team at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry.
What You’ll Be DoingSend out arrears letters and statements, ensuring collections are completed in a timely manner.
Instruct and maintain good working relations with solicitors.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all collections activities on our internal systems.
Prepare reports on debtor status and collections.
Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
Work closely with Accounts Team to ensure information is relayed in a timely and effective manner.
Proven experience in a Credit Controller or similar role.
Experience working in a contracting environment desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
High level of organisation and able to work effectively to deadlines.
Knowledge of software packages such as SAGE and Banking Software is advantageous.
We are open to receiving applications from candidates looking for full-time or part-time hours and would require the successful Credit Controller to attend Monday-Friday at Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX
