About the role

Lead the charge in keeping Worcester moving – we're looking for a hands-on Engineering Supervisor to join us at our Worcester depot and play a pivotal role in keeping our fleet running smoothly and safely. You'll lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, manage both planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure our vehicles meet all regulatory standards. From overseeing vehicle availability and service reliability to supporting stock control and warranty processes, this is your opportunity to take charge of engineering excellence.

• Supervise the maintenance and servicing of the fleet
• Induct and develop an engaged, talented, and high performingengineeringteam
• Efficiently allocate planned and unplannedworkacross theengineeringteam, including covering on the day absence
• Ensure theavailabilityof vehicles in linewithoperationalrequirements
• Support the Stores Manager to ensure optimummanagementof stock and accurate and timely processing of warranty claims
• Maintain accurate records for all aspects ofengineeringstandards and performance, including fleet andenvironmentalmanagement
• Conduct anydisciplinary, grievance or absencemanagementreviews in accordance with
  
  Company policy
• Work alongside depotoperationalandengineeringteam members toeffectivelymanage all aspects of service performance, including vehicleallocation, breakdowns, changeovers andpunctualityandreliabilityof services

Location: Worcester

Hours: 39 hours per week Monday-Friday, rotating shifts of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00

Salary: £42000

Reports To: Engineering Manager

• Do you hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an Engineering field?
• Do you have knowledge of safe operation of workshop equipment and previous supervisory experience?
• Are you organised and IT literate?
• Do you have a full clean UK Driving License?
• Are you a UK resident and can provide RtW as proof?
• A PCV licence is desirable, but not essential, we will help you obtain this
