The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak.

We are currently seeking a Production Tool Pre-Setter within the Machining Department.

• Pre-setting tools for FH Line, Vari-Axis & Versatech Machines within the machining Department
• Controlling stock levels, regrinds & reclamation of over 5000 tools
• Working closely with our tooling suppliers
• Liaising with machine operators, process engineers & supervisors to ensure smooth running of 14 CNC machining centres
• Be responsible for the 5s of two pre-setting rooms in the machining department

The role will be on Standard Mazak contract on day shift.

• Have history working in an industrial setting
• Understand basic mechanical principles
• Computer literate
• Be hard working & conscientious

• Have some machining experience
• Has worked changing cutting tools previously
• Overhead crane experience

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 4.30 pm

Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
