Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Customer Satisfaction Department working flexi-day shift as a Trainee Spindle Builder.

• Building new Spindles for EPC stock and Warranty claims. The successful applicant will also be required to take on Spindle Warranty claim investigations and repairs where necessary. This vacancy welcomes applicants from all departments and will consist of the following:
• Mechanical fitting and preparation work on a variety of spindle types including Lathes and Machining Centres.
• Ensure all activities are completed within Health and Safety Guidelines.
• Actively engage with all company Quality Control Initiatives.
• Follow written procedures and detailed checklists.
• Spindle repair and investigation for warranty purposes.
• Full Training will be offered to the right candidate.
• Work within a positive close-knit team.
• Receive high quality training from experienced personnel.
• Working in an environment that encourages and practises the utmost precision within the factory.
• Opportunity to develop mechanical skill set.

Essential Criteria

• Previous Mechanical, fitting, and Assembly experience is preferred.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and use hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Be able to read and work to drawings.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Team player who can work to build programme and deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure but maintain very high standards of work.
• Have a positive attitude and be able to work under own initiative when require
