Roadside Technician – RAC

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and be part of the team that keeps the UK moving. You will receive a market‑competitive base salary of £35,000 and a realistic on‑target earnings of £60,000, with top performers earning significantly more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates. Work demand‑led shifts of about 40 hours a week, with optional overtime available.

• West Midlands locations:
  Chesterfield, Northampton, Walsall, Wolverhampton/Dudley

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Proven technical, electrical and diagnostic experience
• Customer‑focused approach
• Full UK driving licence

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Address a range of issues – from flat batteries, tyre changes, to complex fault‑finding – and provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when members need it most.
• Start and finish your day at home, tackling challenges head‑on and making a real impact on the roadside.
• Work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment, staying calm under pressure and confident in your craft.
• Think on your feet and make the right call for each customer, ensuring a superior service experience.
