An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join a forward-thinking Practice in the Workington area, who are looking for an additional GP to join their team. The practice can be flexible with the number of sessions on offer, though has a preference for working days to include Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

The Practice is an accredited Training Practice and regularly has a registrar on site, along with a very diverse MDT including ANPs, Paramedic, Pharmacists and Practice Nurses. The workload is kept as reasonable as possible with 15-min f2f appointments, seeing circa 32 patients per day.

The role of Salaried GP pays up to £10,800 per session though there is development available to a Lead GP role with extra responsibility, allowing progression to a much higher sessional rate.

This Practice is an accredited Tier 2 sponsor.

Salary –£9,500 – £12,500 per session + Indemnity insurance paid + NHS Pension + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave.

Your role –

• 15-minute face-to-face appointments
• Minimal admin thanks to Clinical Pharmacists and efficient admin team
• Salaried GP role initially but open to Lead GP role in future
• To be a caring GP and enjoy working as part of a multi-skilled team
• No routine home visits!
• You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
