Job Summary

We are looking for a salaried GP to join our supportive and friendly team, for 4-6 sessions per week. The practice is located on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds, includes 3 fully integrated sites in the Wotton Under Edge area, and is easily accessible from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, and Cheltenham.

Main Duties

• Work as an autonomous practitioner responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population.
• Deliver an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
• Adhere to GMC standards for good medical practice and contribute to effective management of the practice.
• Lead by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
• Support QOF, clinical audit, and medicines management.

About Us

The team consists of 4 partners (including a practice manager partner), 13 salaried GPs, a full skill mix of nurses (including a nurse prescriber), a senior clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technicians, frailty care coordinators, a paramedic, a social prescriber, and practice counsellors. Reception, secretarial and admin teams are highly efficient, minimising administrative burden for the clinical team.

Contract & Compensation

Salary: Depending on experience.

Contract: Permanent.

Person Specification – Eligibility Criteria

• Full GMC Registration.
• National Performers List registration.
• Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU).
• Eligibility to practice in the UK independently.

Qualifications – Essential

• Qualified GP.
• MRCGP.
• Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP.
• General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training - CCT).

Experience – Essential

• Experience working in a primary care environment.
• Experience of continued professional development.
• Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
• Experience of medicines management.
• General understanding of the GMS contract.

Experience – Desirable

• Experience of ICB initiatives.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
