Senior Primary Care Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, located near Bristol. A female prison with 400 capacity.

In this role you will be working with a multi‑disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.

• 24‑hour service with shift patterns:
  Days (07:00–19:30), Nights (19:00–07:30).
• Week 1–3: 3 days;
  Week 4: 4 days (including 1 night shift);
  Expectation to work 1 weekend in 3.

£43,609 – £49,172 per annum (FTE), depending on experience; full‑time, part‑time possible.

• Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.

• Registered Nurse (Adult).
• Current professional qualification (NMC).
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Understanding of multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency working.
• Excellent communication and motivation in individual and team contexts.
• Experience in hospital, community or prison environment is desirable.
