Project Planner - Industrial and Machinery Installation

Job Description

Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Wrexham. We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex industrial and machinery installation projects. In this role, you will develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and work closely with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.

• Develop, maintain, and optimise project schedules using MS Project
• Plan and track activities across engineering, fabrication, logistics, and site installation phases
• Analyse critical paths, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making
• Produce progress reports, dashboards, and forecasting updates for internal and client teams
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure schedule accuracy
• Support resource planning, sequencing of work, and installation methodologies
• Assist in change management and evaluate schedule impacts
• Participate in project meetings and provide clear, data-driven planning insights

• Proven experience as a Project Planner in industrial, mechanical, or machinery installation projects
