Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Credit Controller include:
- Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Oversee the credit control process, including assessing and approving credit limits.
- Chase outstanding debts and resolve payment queries professionally.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies where necessary.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable and overdue payments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing and payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support financial stability.
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong understanding of credit control and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem‑solving skills to handle complex queries and disputes.
- A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
- Experience in the business services industry is an advantage.
