Recovery Worker
We are currently recruiting an experienced Recovery / Support Worker to support with upcoming shifts at a detox hospital in Wrexham. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in drug and alcohol services, detox, rehab, or addiction support, who are confident working in a clinical environment.
Available Shifts- 7am - 7:15pm (Day)
- 1:15pm - 7:45pm (Late)
- 5pm - 12am (Twilight)
- 7pm - 7:15am (Night)
- Supporting service users through detox and recovery programmes
- Monitoring and recording observations (obs)
- Assisting with bloods and ECGs where appropriate
- Providing person‑centred support within a structured clinical setting
- Working alongside nursing and clinical teams
- Previous experience in detox, rehab, or addiction services
- Strong drug & alcohol knowledge
- Ability to work a 12‑hour shift
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
- Right to work in the UK
