Location:

Commutable from Chester, Wrexham, Deeside, Ellesmere Port
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 DOE + Benefits

Shifts:

Monday–Friday (Days & Nights) – No weekends

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a fast-paced role where every day brings a new challenge? Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performing team and help ensure production runs efficiently and reliably.

The Role

Conduct both PPM and reactive maintenance across a variety of FMCG machinery
Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and enhance performance
Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
Skills & Experience

Qualified Maintenance Engineer NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (either electrical or mechanical bias considered)
Previous experience within FMCG, Food, Packaging, or other high-volume manufacturing environments
Strong fault-finding ability across PLCs, conveyors, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a positive, can-do approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
