Thermotraffic is a leading international supplier of temperature-controlled storage and transport for food products. Our modern warehouse in Wrexham is central to our growing UK operations. You will therefore be working for a large and stable organization that gives you everything you need to do your job to the best of your ability.

• Move products in and out of the cold store in a safe, timely and accurate manner using a range of mechanical handling equipment including forklifts and reach trucks, pallet inverters, loading bay ramps, scales, pallet wrap machines and mobile racking.
• Drop and put away stock in a busy cold store.
• Use RF guns and apply labels.
• Keep the working area clean at all times.
• Work with mobile racking.
• Perform stock checks and support export operations.

At all times you use your experience and knowledge to help maintain a high-quality and timely service, support colleagues and achieve real job satisfaction. You will ensure that standards and procedures are maintained at the levels required by Thermotraffic and our customers.

To apply for the job as a Reach Truck Driver you must be accurate, good with numbers and physically able to work within a cold store. You should be able to maintain good communication with colleagues and customers and quickly get up to speed with our work procedures to meet our standards.

Baseline qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing/distribution/logistics is an advantage
• Experience of working in the cold storage industry is preferred but not essential
• Reach truck driving experience and a Counterbalance Forklift license
• Solid spoken and written English language communication skills
