Join MJ Quinn as a Poling Operative – Driver. We are currently recruiting for a Poling Operative – Driver to join our North Wales Team.

As a Poling Operative, you will be responsible for installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles covering the North Wales region. This is an entry level position and all training will be provided. After an 18‑week training period, earning potentials will vastly increase.

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• Valid CPC and understanding of Tachograph driving laws
• Strong work ethic and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Professional communication skills
• Organised, self‑motivated, and achievement‑oriented
• Basic computer literacy

• Replace damaged, decayed, or defective poles in the Openreach network
• Install new poles to support customer connections
• Ensure all work meets client specifications and safety standards
• Maintain driving standards and legal compliance
• Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and company/client policies

• Experience working in the Openreach network
• Groundworks or civils experience
• IPAF 1B
• NPORS N107 or equivalent
• Full NRSWA Streetworks operative‑level qualification
• 360 Excavator operation
• PASMA certification
