Drivers Mate; Non-Driving – VH

Overview

Role: To assist our van drivers in the collection and delivery of furniture and donations across our county.

• Support van drivers to deliver furniture to customers safely and in a timely manner.
• Enable the collection of furniture donations for the purpose of selling in our charity shops.
• Maintaining good communication and relationships with staff and customers.
• To undertake volunteer duties that may be appropriate to help achieve Big C’s objectives.

This opportunity will be based at Wymondham Distribution Centre. Roles available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.

As a regional cancer charity, Big C are dedicated to supporting anyone affected by cancer in Norfolk and neighbouring counties whilst working with key partners in research and healthcare to improve future outcomes.

There are an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK. 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime. Big C seeks and implements new approaches and projects to make sure that no one is missing our on the opportunity to access our support. Big C’s work focuses on 6 key areas;
