Working on multiple accounts, you'll be used to delivering 1st class customer service with strong GDS knowledge and looking after the team to ensure all the client's needs are met from beginning to end. It's a fast paced environment so a knack for managing priorities is needed, but in return, you will be getting an excellent salary of up to £32,000 plus a fabulous benefit package!
Key Responsibilities as a Group Flight Manager Manage and support multiple client events, group flights, and corporate accounts, ensuring delivery to exact client specifications. Take full ownership of your workload, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and responsibility for high-level group travel logistics. Oversee GDS (Amadeus), airline, and group reservations, including issuing, exchanging, reissuing, and refunding tickets. Administer all bookings across all airlines and charters - including confirmations, contracts, flight summaries, manifests, budgets, e-tickets, and financial reconciliations.
Support operations with delegate management, seating, airport transfers, assistance, and special services. Provide out-of-hours flight assistance, including 24-hour cover when necessary for international events. Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and operational efficiency. Manage smaller groups, client holidays, and VIP trips, coordinating ground arrangements and liaising with DMCs. Provide departmental cover for the Head of Flights and flight team during leave or absence.
Promote cross-departmental communication and training, enhancing understanding of flight processes and commercial performance. Support the Head of Department with training on commercial aspects, time management, and effective disruption response. Experience required as a Group Flight Manager:
Strong knowledge in native GDS systems booking long haul and multi stop itineraries, rail and hotels (not point and click systems). The client is ideally looking for Amadeus experience. Experience in ticketing, refunds and post-reservation customer care is highly desired. The package as a Group Flight Manager:
The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of up to £32,000 (depending on BT and management experience) along with company benefits and career progression. Great hours;
